12/10/2007 – For General Distribution

Effective January, 2008 we are pleased to announce the release of the next generation Lane Maintenance products from Lane Concepts:

Lubricity-S  (For Sanction Technology machines)  Approximate Viscosity of 29.0

Lubricity-W (For Wick and the A-22 lane machines)  Approximate Viscosity of 21.0

Lubricity possesses similar carrydown, breakdown, and cleanliness characteristics of our current flagship product, Syn-Pro, but creates less friction between the bowling balls and the lane surface.  The product has been in development for more than three years and field tested during the past year.  Its performance has met or exceeded all focus group recommendations and expectations.

Syn-Pro will continue to be marketed as a “Medium Hook” lane oil, best suited for low to medium friction surfaces, while Lubricity will be marketed  as a "High Slide" lane oil suited  for medium to higher friction lane beds.  Preferred pattern lengths and bowlers preference also come into play as to which Lane Concepts conditioner product is best for any specific lane brand or surface.

Lubricity was initially designed as an answer to the problem of ever increasing aggressive bowling balls, and during testing, it was proven to assist in the performance of the newer equipment.  During testing, we also discovered that not just wood lanes, but most of the new high-friction synthetics might also benefit from a higher-slide lane oil product.  As Lubricity’s test period reached its conclusion, numerous centers have requested for us to release the product now, and not at the coming Bowl Expo.  We have obliged and are offering it to our bowling partners.

If you have any questions, please contact your local distributor or Lane Concepts direct at 800-683-0037.  We are excited to be able to bring the bowling world this progressive oil product and look forward to its future success.
